MSI brings GE66, GE76 Raider, GS66 Stealth gaming laptops with the latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake-H processors & RTX 30-series GPUs

MSI has recently announced a wide portfolio of gaming laptops in India powered by the latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series mobile GPUs. These are beefier gaming laptops with great designs to give the maximum output for playing games.

These are some re-designs to its existing gaming laptop series, while will be available in two forms, with the MSI GE66 and GE76 Raider. These laptops are equipped with RTX 30 Max-P graphics is also included and will look pretty much identical to its previous model.

However, the device’s internals will be changed substantially, and the 11th Gen Core series will be faster than the 10th Gen. other specifications include that since it’s powered by Tiger Lake-H then the laptop also supports PCIe Gen4 and Thunderbolt 4, not to mention faster DDR4-3200 memory.

MSI GE66 Raider

The gaming laptop features a 15.6-inch Quad HD panel with a nice 165Hz refresh rate also covering 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut or you can even opt for a 240Hz refresh rate. As expected from a gaming laptop, you get two RAM slots and supports up to 64GB DDR4-3200 memory, whereas having two storage slots for NVMe M.2 SSDs – one for PCIe Gen 3 and one PCIe Gen 4.

For performance, you have the latest Core i7-11800H processor paired with an RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 GPU, or the RTX 3080 16GB GDDR6. In terms of connectivity the laptop features an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Also, you have the much required full HD webcam for meetings and calls.

For ports you get: USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and one USB-C 4.0/Thunderbolt 4/DisplayPort 1.4 port. For the keyboard, you have a Steelseries gaming keyboard with per-key RGB lighting.

MSI GE76 Raider

It is almost the same as the GE66 Raider, however, it offers up to a beefier Intel Core i9-11980HK and RTX 3070 Max-P graphics options. However, there’s a difference in display, the GE76 Raider getting two 17.3-inch choices – one with 165Hz refresh rate with Quad HD resolution, and the other with 360Hz refresh rate with full HD resolution. Rest, all the other features and options remain the same.

MSI GS66 Stealth

The Stealth option is more of a portable design and is less heavy, so has some cut-downs in performance. However, its baked with same horsepower with up to 11th Gen intel Core i7 processors and three GPU choices with the RTX 3070 and 3080 offered in Max-Q designs. 

The laptop bears the same 15.6-inch QHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and other connectivity, storage and RAM options remain the same. The only difference between all the three USB-A ports here is USB 3.2 Gen 2, and the webcam on the GS66 Stealth is HD only, not full HD.

The MSI GE66 Raider with up to Core i7, RTX 3080 16GB will cost you a whopping Rs 3.25 lakh while the MSI GE76 Raider with up to Core i9, RTX 3080 16GB options costing you as much as Rs 3.92 lakh. The portable MSI GS66 Stealth, on the other hand, isn’t cheap either, going up to Rs 3.14 lakh for Core i7, RTX 3080 Max-Q.
