The postponement came roughly two weeks after the assassination of right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, with the show’s storyline about preventing extremist attacks — including scenes involving a sniper and the bombing of a government building — considered potentially too sensitive for the moment. She added that while she respected Apple’s decision to pause the release, she remained hopeful the show would eventually reach audiences.
