LG’s Signature OLED R TVs might be getting a new variant

LG manufactures a wide range of hardware and is best known for its innovations. However, the product which sets the company apart from the rest is its Television screens.

The company has delivered many legendary screens in the market and is now gearing to take the innovations n OLED screens a step further. According to the latest sources, the LG’s Signature OLED R TVs which are cutting-edge big-screen devices will now be getting a new variation. Its worth remembering that the technology is deployed using a motorized roller concealed within its housing at need.

Reports indicate that the new idea will be pricey once its sliding action is horizontal rather than vertical as in the Signature OLED R. hence it will be mounted on a central stand, which supports it as it slides outward on either side to assume its full size.

LG previously submitted a document to the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) on June 4, 2021, and according to that piece of documented LG has outlined the advantage of having no bezels whatsoever on 2 sides of this possible one-day futuristic TV.

However, the designs submitted by the company suggest that the new TV will take up more space compared to the average up-to-date flatscreen. However, as it is apparently at a very early stage in its development, and the problem of occupying more space will be addressed should this new kind of rollable TV ever see a launch. Let’s wait and see for more details to come.
