PLAVE Comeback Alert: HYPERDRIVE Release Date, Schedule And Everything Plinks Need to Know

The countdown has officially begun — PLAVE is revving back up for a new era, and this time it’s called HYPERDRIVE. At midnight KST on September 17, the virtual K-pop sensation dropped their full promotion schedule along with a striking first teaser image, sending Plinks (their fandom) into a frenzy across timelines.

Here’s the biggest detail fans have been waiting for: HYPERDRIVE and its title track music video will digitally drop on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST, followed by the physical album release on October 13. That’s a tight, buzz-building rollout typical of PLAVE’s meticulously planned comebacks.

PLAVE HYPERDRIVE — Key Dates

Why This Comeback Matters?

PLAVE isn’t just another rookie act — they’re one of the pioneering virtual K-pop groups, blending real-time motion capture performance with idol-group storytelling, a format that’s reshaped how fans engage with K-pop online. Every comeback schedule reveal tends to trend instantly, and HYPERDRIVE’s teaser is already stirring speculation about a bolder, more futuristic concept than their previous releases.

With the title track MV landing digitally first and the physical album following a day later, PLAVE seems to be leaning into a strategy that maximizes both streaming-day momentum and album-sales anticipation — a pattern many top K-pop acts now follow to dominate both charts and merchandise sales in the same week.

What’s Next for Plinks?

Expect the standard pre-comeback rollout in the coming weeks — concept photos, tracklist reveals, individual member teasers, and possibly a highlight medley just before October 12. If HYPERDRIVE follows PLAVE’s usual promotional rhythm, the final stretch before release will be packed with content drops almost daily.
