Ghamasaan OTT Release Date: Everything to Know About Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Dacoit Thriller Coming to ZEE5

Fans of gritty, heartland dramas have circled their calendars. Tigmanshu Dhulia’s much-anticipated Ghamasaan finally lands on streaming this September, bringing a fierce hunter-versus-outlaw showdown straight to your screen.

When Is Ghamasaan Releasing on OTT?

According to Bollywood Hungama, Ghamasaan is set to release on 11 September 2026 on ZEE5. The film follows a fearless IPS officer determined to track down a dreaded dacoit terrorizing Bundelkhand, blending real-world inspiration with a Western-style narrative structure that director Dhulia is known for.

The Story and the Cast

Pratik Gandhi plays SSP Aditya, an honest officer who bends the rules to outsmart a corrupt system and avenge his fallen colleagues. Standing opposite him is Arshad Warsi as Maharaj, the elusive outlaw at the center of the manhunt. Talking about his casting choice, Tigmanshu Dhulia shared with Times of India that he found Warsi to be an uninhibited actor with a distinct, free-spirited screen presence — comparing his energy to that of veteran star Govinda.

The film also features Rajpal Yadav, Ishita Dutta, Jatin Goswami, and Deepraj Rana in key roles, and was produced by Jio Studios and Golden Ratio Films. Before its streaming debut, Ghamasaan had already earned festival acclaim at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, Cinevesture International Film Festival, and the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.
