Opraah Establishes 48-Hour Payment Standard for Exclusive Creators

Opraah, a prominent creator management company in India, has introduced “OPay: 48 Hour Creator Payments,” an initiative guaranteeing payments to its exclusive creators within 48 hours of a brand campaign going live. The move aims to address prolonged payment cycles prevalent in the burgeoning Indian creator economy.

The initiative comes as digital creators increasingly operate as businesses, managing teams and incurring significant operational costs such as production, travel, and editing. While creators are expected to deliver content within tight deadlines, payment processing can often extend for weeks or even months. Opraah states this new standard is designed to align payment systems with the professionalization of the creator industry.

Pranav Panpalia, Co-Founder of Opraah, stated, “The creator economy has matured significantly, but the underlying payment systems have not kept pace. Creators today are running legitimate businesses with substantial investments; they should not face delays in receiving earned compensation.”

Mansi Panpalia, also a Co-Founder at Opraah (https://opraah.in/), emphasized the importance of trust and professional systems. “Our exclusive creators entrust us with their professional growth. This trust must extend to how we manage their overall experience, including timely payments, which OPay is designed to ensure.”

Opraah : Initiative Details and Industry Impact

The 48-hour payment commitment will apply to Opraah’s exclusive creators, contingent on the completion of the brand campaign and fulfillment of all necessary payment documentation and processes. The company views this as a foundational step toward establishing a more creator-first management ecosystem within the industry.

Opraah aims for this internal policy shift to influence broader industry practices, fostering a more transparent and professional environment for digital creators. As the Indian creator economy continues its rapid expansion, discussions around fair compensation and efficient operational structures are gaining traction. This development underscores the ongoing evolution in digital media, a topic frequently covered in industry developments(https://technosports.co.in/).

“The way creators are compensated must evolve alongside their businesses,” Mansi Panpalia added, reiterating the company’s commitment to building necessary infrastructure for the creator community. The company hopes this move will shift the focus of creator management beyond merely securing brand deals to fostering a more comprehensive and creator-centric support system.
