Why the 5th Friday Number Is So Significant

Hanuman Ansh’s Rs. 9.50 crore collection didn’t just beat expectations — it surpassed Dhurandhar’s Rs. 8 crore to become the biggest 5th Friday of all time for any Hindi film. What makes this even more remarkable is that it happened despite the film losing some screen space to newcomer Mirzapur: The Movie, showing just how much pent-up audience demand remains for Hanuman Ansh.

What’s Next for Hanuman Ansh?

With Saturday advances suggesting another spike, the film is projected to close its fifth weekend around Rs. 45-50 crore nett — which would itself set a new all-time record, surpassing Dhurandhar’s Rs. 44.75 crore nett fifth-week total by a similar 50-60 percent margin. This puts Hanuman Ansh on track to enter the elusive Rs. 100 crore nett club as early as Sunday or Monday, with a genuine shot at reaching Rs. 200 crore if the momentum holds.
