A Love Other Than Yours: New Faces Set to Shake Up a 10-Year Romance

Ten years into a relationship, comfort can quietly turn into distance — and that’s exactly the emotional territory A Love Other Than Yours is stepping into. Ahead of its premiere, stars Lee Joo Ahn and Jo Aram opened up about the characters designed to disrupt everything.

The upcoming K-drama follows a long-term couple whose once-familiar relationship starts cracking under the weight of new feelings, new people, and old unspoken needs.

A Love Other Than Yours: Show Details

Meet Han Tae Seung — The Man Who Sees Too Clearly

Lee Joo Ahn plays Han Tae Seung, a sharp, composed lawyer who reads people with unsettling precision — yet secretly craves to be loved himself. He admitted the script pulled him in instantly: “I ended up reading the entire script in one sitting,” he shared, describing his excitement despite early doubts about pulling off the role.

The person who cracks his guarded exterior? Lee Mi Do, played by Ahn Eun Jin. Lee Joo Ahn called her “a great flood that broke through the walls around Han Tae Seung’s heart,” noting how her unpredictability sparks something in a man who’s always believed he’s right. He also praised his chemistry with Ahn Eun Jin, saying her dialogue eventually stopped feeling scripted and started feeling real.

Meet Park Soo Ah — Honesty as a Superpower

Jo Aram takes on Park Soo Ah, a younger colleague who doesn’t hide her feelings and pursues what she wants with quiet determination. “Once she decides she wants to do something, she doesn’t give up easily,” Jo Aram explained, highlighting her character’s refreshing directness.

Her presence changes Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang Jun) — a man so focused on caring for everyone else that he’s forgotten to value himself. Jo Aram teased that Soo Ah helps him “see himself a little differently,” and spoke warmly about learning from her co-star Seo Kang Jun on set.

Why This Drama Feels Different

Rather than leaning on dramatic betrayal tropes, A Love Other Than Yours seems focused on something quieter and more relatable — how long-term love can drift, and what it takes to feel truly seen again. With two magnetic new characters entering the picture, expect emotional tension that feels uncomfortably real.
