Song Kang, Lee Jun Young, and Jang Gyuri Show Off Real On-Set Chemistry in New “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” BTS Video

Behind-the-scenes videos have a way of revealing more than any polished trailer ever could, and tvN’s new making-of clip for “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” is no exception. Between playful banter and daredevil action sequences, the cast’s genuine camaraderie is quickly becoming one of the drama’s biggest talking points.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas: The BTS Video

Song Kang and Jang Gyuri Coordinate a Physical Scene

The video opens with Song Kang and Jang Gyuri carefully choreographing a physical scene together, working through different ways for Song Kang’s character to push Jang Gyuri’s away. When she resists more forcefully than expected, Song Kang jokingly remarks, “Why are you so strong?” — a small, unscripted moment that instantly humanizes the pair’s on-set dynamic.

Lee Jun Young Goes All-In on the Action

Elsewhere in the clip, Lee Jun Young takes on a demanding stunt, jumping down from a building after receiving detailed safety instructions from the crew. His commitment doesn’t stop there — after another action-heavy sequence, he sums up his mindset simply: “If the director and action director say to jump, I’ll jump. If they say to stop, I’ll stop.” It’s the kind of trust-the-process attitude that action-drama fans tend to respect.

The Cast Opens Up in Interviews

The video closes with candid reflections from all three leads. Song Kang admits he was genuinely nervous during the first day of filming, but says the experience quickly became comfortable, comparing his on-screen rapport with Lee Jun Young to their characters Pio and Jeong Yo. Lee Jun Young echoes the sentiment, calling himself “very compatible” with Song Kang and noting that being treated “like a same-aged friend” has made filming smoother. Jang Gyuri, meanwhile, shares that first-day filming is always the most exciting and nerve-wracking part of any project, adding she’s looking forward to what’s ahead.
