Yash’s big Bollywood comeback is inching toward a milestone, but the daily numbers suggest the celebration might be short-lived. Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups collected Rs. 17 crore on Friday in Hindi, marking a 20% drop from Day 2. That brings its three-day nett total to Rs. 87.50 crore, putting the film on track to cross the Rs. 100 crore nett mark by the end of the day. Based on current trends, the extended five-day weekend could land somewhere between Rs. 110-115 crore.

What’s Next For Toxic

The film’s fate over the coming weekdays will hinge heavily on word-of-mouth, which so far hasn’t been particularly strong. A drop in showcasing is expected as the extended opening weekend wraps up, and trade watchers will be closely tracking Saturday and Sunday numbers to see if the film can hold steady.

Toxic marks Yash’s return to the big screen after a four-year gap, co-starring Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria. His next major project, Ramayana, is slated for a grand theatrical release on Diwali 2026.
