The Emirates lights up for one more pre-season test as Arsenal host Como on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. With the Premier League opener just days away, this friendly is Mikel Arteta’s last real chance to fine-tune his squad — and Como, unbeaten in six matches, arrive with genuine momentum and nothing to lose.
Arsenal’s summer form has been solid but not flawless, with wins over Girona and Burnley alongside tighter results against PSG and Real Betis. Como, meanwhile, have looked sharp in Serie A prep, going unbeaten through their last half-dozen outings. Expect a competitive, high-energy contest at a sold-out-atmosphere Emirates. fotmob

Team News & Lineups
Arsenal will be without a few key names for this one. William Saliba (back injury) and Ben White (knee injury) are both unavailable, alongside youngster Louie Copley who is out with a cruciate ligament injury. On the plus side, Como have no fitness concerns heading into the match. Predicted lineups typically surface a few days out, with confirmed XIs dropping roughly an hour before kickoff. fotmobfotmob
Prediction
Arsenal’s squad depth and home advantage make them favourites, but Como’s unbeaten run suggests they won’t make it easy. Expect Arteta to rotate through fringe players, so a tight, entertaining draw or a narrow Arsenal win is the likeliest outcome.
