Ajay Devgn’s comeback comedy is proving it has real legs. Dhamaal 4 wrapped its second weekend with a solid Rs 27.25 crore nett, pushing its India total to Rs 122.50 crore nett, and trade voices are now calling it an official Hit.

What’s Next for the Franchise Comedy

The film is expected to close its full second week north of Rs 40 crore, taking the tally to around Rs 135 crore. With week three being an open week — meaning no major new Hindi release to compete with directly — Dhamaal 4 should comfortably cross the Rs 150 crore nett mark by the end of it. The real test comes in week four, when it runs into Hollywood’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day at Indian screens.

A Strong Year for Bollywood Hits

Dhamaal 4 is now the fourth Bollywood Hit of 2026, joining Border 2, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and Bhooth Bangla. Three of these are franchise films, echoing a trend where established film series continue to draw audiences back to cinema halls, despite talk of “franchise fatigue” doing the rounds last year.
