Family Register Episode 10: An Art Exhibition Reunion Nobody Saw Coming

Some reunions happen at coffee shops. Others happen in front of a painting, with years of unresolved feelings hanging in the air. That’s exactly the scene MBC’s “Family Register” is setting up for its tenth episode.

What Happens in Episode 10?

New stills reveal a long-awaited reunion between Na Jin Yi (Park Se Young) and Lim Ji Hoo (Sung I Eon) at an art exhibition. The two had previously kept their distance — Ji Hoo treating Jin Yi coldly despite clearly struggling to look away from her — but this unexpected run-in shifts the dynamic. In the new stills, Jin Yi looks visibly surprised, while Ji Hoo appears noticeably warmer, his gaze quietly fixed on her even while pretending to study the artwork on the wall.

A Sudden Turn Toward Conflict

Not everything in the preview stays soft, though. Another still shows Ji Hoo — a character who rarely displays strong emotion — throwing a punch at someone in the middle of the street, hinting at a dramatic escalation still to be explained.

What’s Family Register About?

The drama centers on a child branded from birth as the reason a family fell apart, and a woman fighting against societal prejudice and a harsh fate to reclaim her life — a premise that echoes themes found in classic melodrama storytelling, where personal identity and social judgment collide.
