A Global Stage for a Homegrown Epic

The makers are heading to San Diego Comic-Con for the trailer’s international debut, reportedly booking Ballroom 20 — the event’s second-largest hall, with room for around 5,000 attendees. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, producer Namit Malhotra, and director Nitesh Tiwari are all expected to be present for the big moment.

Malhotra’s team had already teased the release with a heartfelt note describing the film as a civilizational epic rooted in the timeless ideals of the Ramayana, now being brought to the world at a scale unprecedented in Indian cinema.

The Cast Behind the Epic

Ranbir Kapoor leads as Lord Rama, with Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The ensemble also includes Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles.
