Dhamaal 4 Advance Booking: Ajay Devgn’s Comedy Sequel Sells 38,000 Tickets Ahead of Release

The Dhamaal franchise is back, and early numbers suggest audiences are ready to laugh again. Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 has sold around 38,000 tickets across India’s top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, for its opening day, with PVR Inox alone accounting for 30,000 of those admissions.

How the Advance Booking Breaks Down

Cinepolis picked up the remaining 8,000 tickets, giving the film a decent but not explosive start in national chains. For context, the numbers are fairly close to what Alpha managed at the same stage, though Dhamaal 4 is reportedly performing stronger in single-screen and non-national chains — especially in Gujarat, where the franchise has historically had a loyal following.

Why the Advance Looks Modest

Despite being a well-established comedy franchise, the pre-sales haven’t been explosive. Industry trackers point to sequel fatigue as a likely factor, given how many franchise films have released in quick succession recently. The film’s real test will come from spot bookings and walk-in audiences on release day itself.

What’s Expected at the Box Office of Dhamaal 4?

Word-of-mouth will likely decide how far Dhamaal 4 travels, especially with holdover films like Welcome to the Jungle, Alpha, and Main Vaapas Aaunga still competing for screens.

The Franchise So Far

Fans of the earlier films will be watching closely to see if the sequel can recapture the franchise’s signature chaos.
