Dhanush Drops a Mystery Poster — And Tamil Cinema Is Already Decoding It

Just two letters and a date were enough to break the internet. That’s the power Dhanush wields — and he just proved it again.

The actor took to social media with a cryptic poster reading “DxV,” alongside the date July 10, 2026, promising more details soon. No context, no caption explaining it — just enough intrigue to send fans into full detective mode, wondering if this finally confirms his long-rumored collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu.

Adding fuel to the fire, composer Sai Abhyankkar shared the same poster, sparking a second wave of speculation — is this about the Venkat Prabhu project, or a fresh update on Dhanush’s much-anticipated film “Om”?

Part of the excitement comes from what this collaboration could represent. Venkat Prabhu has long worked closely with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, so Sai Abhyankkar’s involvement — if confirmed — would mark a notable shift in that creative partnership, much like how directors across Tamil cinema often build long-term collaborations with specific composers that define their signature sound.

Meanwhile, Dhanush isn’t slowing down. Fresh off “Kara,” he’s currently filming “Om,” touted as the first installment in a new franchise, while also lining up projects with directors Tamizharasan Pachamuthu and Mari Selvaraj — and reportedly in talks with “Kanguva” director Siva too.

July 10 can’t come soon enough — until then, the guessing game continues.
