ScoutOP Turns Team Owner: Gujarat Wolves Welcomes Its New Boss

Big news for Indian esports fans — Tanmay “ScoutOP” Singh, one of the most recognizable faces in the country’s gaming scene, has officially been announced as the owner of Gujarat Wolves, a franchise competing in the Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL). The announcement was shared on the team’s official Instagram handle, @gujarat_wolves_gepl, sending fans and the gaming community into a buzz.

For a player who built his name in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports, this move marks a new chapter — shifting from player and brand ambassador roles into full-fledged team ownership in the e-cricket space. ScoutOP has long been considered a pioneer in India’s mobile gaming industry, and this step signals his growing influence beyond BGMI into other competitive gaming verticals.

ScoutOP: Overview

ScoutOP’s fanbase — built through years of PUBG Mobile and BGMI dominance — is expected to bring massive visibility to Gujarat Wolves as the team gears up for the upcoming GEPL season. His reputation for building winning systems (as seen with Team XSpark’s BGIS victories) has fans optimistic about what he can do as an owner in a completely new format: e-cricket.

This isn’t the first time a gaming personality has stepped into franchise ownership — a trend that’s rapidly reshaping how esports and fantasy sports properties are being run in India.
