Building a consumer brand used to mean years of trial, error, and gut instinct. BCT Ventures thinks artificial intelligence can compress that timeline dramatically — and it just raised serious money to prove it. The Mumbai-based platform has officially launched as India’s first AI-native consumer brands company, closing an INR 42 crore seed round led by 3one4 Capital, with nutrition and wellness as its opening battleground.

Why Nutrition and Wellness, First

India’s wellness market is quietly shifting. Urban consumers are moving away from generic, one-size-fits-all supplements toward practitioner-backed, protocol-led solutions — the kind built around actual longevity and performance goals rather than shelf appeal. BCT Ventures is betting this underbuilt category is fertile ground for brands built on real expertise rather than marketing spend alone.

BCT Engine Room: Three AI Systems Doing the Heavy Lifting

What makes BCT Ventures different isn’t just the funding — it’s the machinery behind it. The Company runs on three proprietary, closed-loop AI engines:

Engine	Role	What It Does
Resonance	Trust & Attention Engine	Builds owned audiences via practitioner-led content, spots emerging needs
Nucleus	Product Engine	Turns practitioner expertise and demand signals into protocol-first products
Meridian	Performance Marketing Engine	Uses AI to speed up creative testing, media buying, and ROAS optimisation

Together, these systems form a feedback loop: Resonance spots what people need, Nucleus builds it, Meridian scales it, and customer data flows back in to sharpen the next brand.

The Team Behind It

Founders Kashyap Vadapalli, KV Ravi Shekhar, and Anubhav Sonthalia bring a mix of backgrounds spanning Google, eBay, Pepperfry, Vedantu, and WPP, along with prior venture-building and exit experience. Vadapalli summed up the thesis simply: every tech era reshapes consumer business — digital changed distribution, data changed decisions, and now AI is set to change how brands are conceived and scaled.

3one4 Capital’s Anand Batra echoed that confidence, noting the founding team’s blend of audience-building and operational depth as the reason the platform can extend beyond wellness into other consumer categories over time.
