BTS Just Rewrote Concert History — And The Rolling Stones Couldn’t Stop It

For seven years, no group could touch The Rolling Stones’ monthly touring record. Then BTS showed up.

According to Billboard Boxscore data, BTS pulled in a jaw-dropping $127.8 million from just 12 shows between May 2–28, 2026, selling 641,000 tickets in the process. That haul came entirely from the US and Mexico legs of their Arirang World Tour — and it demolished the Rolling Stones’ previous benchmark of $95 million, a record that had stood since Billboard began tracking monthly Boxscore numbers.

This isn’t a fluke. It’s BTS’s fourth time topping the monthly Top Tours chart, putting them in the same breath as Beyoncé, Coldplay, Bad Bunny, and Elton John — artists who define what “arena-filling superstar” even means.

BTS Numbers That Broke The Internet

Vegas Carried The Whole Tour

The four-night Las Vegas residency alone generated $49.5 million, landing BTS at #1 on Billboard’s Top Boxscores chart for that stretch. California, Texas, and Mexico City also delivered sold-out stadium nights, proving the group’s post-hiatus comeback has lost none of its pulling power.

With over 50 tour dates still remaining this year, Arirang is on track to overtake 2019’s Love Yourself World Tour as BTS’s highest-grossing run ever. So far, the tour has banked $204 million in sales and 1.1 million tickets since kicking off on April 9, 2026.

For context on just how storied the group BTS dethroned really is, The Rolling Stones have been touring since the 1960s — making this record-break even more staggering.
