Mark Your Calendars: Demonte Colony 3 Is Coming to Haunt You This September 11, 2026

Tamil cinema’s most spine-chilling franchise just got a release date — and horror fans, this one’s going to be worth every goosebump. Demonte Colony 3: The End Is Too Far, starring Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, is officially set to hit theatres on September 11, 2026. The makers teased the announcement perfectly: “Just the thought of this place will give you shivers, thrills, and nightmares. Brace yourself for the darkness!”

If that doesn’t get the hair on your arms standing, nothing will.

Demonte Colony 3 : Overview

The Franchise That Redefined Tamil Horror

When the original Demonte Colony released in 2015, it became a box-office success and a genre milestone for Tamil cinema. The story of four friends who venture into a haunted mansion — and uncover the dark legend of a mysterious necklace and one John Demonte — left audiences genuinely unsettled. It wasn’t just a ghost story; it was atmospheric, layered, and deeply effective.

The franchise returned in 2024 with Demonte Colony 2: Vengeance of the Unholy, which expanded the mythology further with a new protagonist searching for answers about her late husband — and inevitably colliding with the same dark forces from the first film.

Now, the third installment promises to explore the aftermath of both films while uncovering entirely new layers of the franchise’s supernatural world. The subtitle — The End Is Too Far — is a cryptic and thrilling signal that this story is far from over.
