India’s Esports Creators, This Is Your Moment: $2 Million Up for Grabs at EWC 2026 & ENC 2026

If you’ve been waiting for your big break in esports content creation, the Esports Foundation just opened the door — and it’s the biggest one yet.

The Esports Foundation (EF), the organization behind the Esports World Cup (EWC) and the newly launched Esports Nations Cup (ENC), has officially opened applications for its 2026 Creator Program — the largest co-streaming initiative in esports history. Indian creators can apply right now.

EWC 2026 Program Overview

Why This Program Is a Big Deal?

Co-streaming isn’t new to EWC — in 2025, 3,500 co-streamers were one of the key growth pillars for tournament viewership, bringing matches to fans in their own languages and communities. The 2026 program builds on that with a massive scale-up to 5,000 creators and a committed $2 million rewards fund.

This isn’t just about watching numbers. EF sees creators as the primary channel through which esports reaches its next generation of fans — personalized, community-driven, and built on trust.

How It Works for Creators

Approved creators can co-stream their favourite tournaments, complete missions, and climb leaderboards — all through a Battle Pass system that unlocks rewards for both creators and their communities.

Rewards range from gift cards, gear, and consoles to streaming platform perks and invitations to attend EWC and ENC in person. For Indian creators especially, this is a rare chance to build a global audience while covering the world’s biggest esports stage.

The program runs across both events: EWC 2026 in Paris this summer and the inaugural ENC 2026 in Riyadh this November — the first-ever nation-based esports competition of its kind.

What the Esports Foundation Is Building?

EF’s Director of Broadcast & Distribution, Wasae Imran, framed it clearly: audiences no longer watch what they’re given — they choose their own experience. Esports, he says, is just further down that road than most traditional sports.

The Creator Program is the Foundation’s long-term answer to that shift — not a one-time activation, but a permanent pillar of how EF grows the sport globally.

For Indian esports content creators, this aligns perfectly with a domestic scene that has been scaling rapidly. Whether you’re streaming on YouTube or Twitch, this program is designed to reward growth at every level.

How to Apply?

Applications are open now via the official Creator Program landing page on the Esports Foundation website. Creators across India should apply early — with 5,000 spots and a global applicant pool, competition for selection will be real.
