Whether you’re a first-timer or a lapsed player who bounced off the original launch, this is the definitive way to experience it.

The Steam Comeback That Changed Everything

Hotel Barcelona had a rocky start, but since its March 2026 relaunch, Steam reviews have swung strongly positive. Critics and players are re-evaluating the game with fresh eyes — and the Late Check-Out DLC is the key reason why. It’s the kind of escalation that doesn’t just add content; it recontextualises what came before.

This is exactly what a well-executed roguelite can do when it commits fully to its vision — and SWERY and SUDA51’s distinct, boundary-pushing styles are clicking with audiences in a way they didn’t at launch.

Multiplayer Breakdown

The Switch versions are built for play with others. Online co-op supports 1–3 players, there’s a chaotic 4-player invasion mode, and full PvP is included. For a stylish horror-roguelite, that’s a genuinely compelling multiplayer offering that should extend replay value well beyond the solo campaign.

No official release date has been confirmed yet — the Switch versions are listed as coming soon.
