SS Mayookha: The Heartwarming Story of How Sidharth Malhotra Made a Legend’s Daughter’s Dream Come True

Every so often, a story from the entertainment world warms your heart in the most unexpected way — and this throwback involving SS Mayookha and Sidharth Malhotra is exactly that kind of story.

Who Is SS Mayookha?

SS Mayookha is the adopted daughter of legendary filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the visionary director behind Baahubali and RRR. Rajamouli adopted his wife Rama’s son, Karthikeya, from her previous marriage. Later, after their marriage, the couple adopted a daughter and named her Mayookha.

The Sweetest Fan Moment You’ll Read Today

SS Mayookha had a huge crush on Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, the Student of the Year actor, and the two once spent quality time together during an outing — a fan meeting turned surprise date that the internet couldn’t get enough of.

What made it extra special was how the whole thing unfolded publicly, in the most wholesome way possible.

SS Rajamouli expressed his gratitude to Sidharth on X, writing: “Thanks a lot Sidharth for meeting my daughter. She is super super excited. And thanks for your advice to her. Makes our lives easier.”

And Sidharth’s response? Pure class. He replied: “Hello sir big fan! No thanks req, she is very sweet n level headed! hope to see you next.”

This is the kind of cross-industry camaraderie that makes you genuinely smile. A Bollywood superstar calling himself a big fan of the RRR director, and a father publicly thanking someone for being kind to his daughter — all out in the open, no PR spin needed.

What Is SS Rajamouli Currently Working On?

While SS Mayookha stays largely out of the spotlight, her father is very much in it. SS Rajamouli is currently busy with his jungle adventure project SSMB29, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is planned as a two-part project, with the first installment set for release in 2027 and the second in 2029.

The team recently completed their Odisha schedule, and Rajamouli even shared a personal solo trek video from Deomali — Odisha’s highest peak — urging fans to address littering at scenic spots. Even off-set, this man stays iconic.
