Unplanned Trip: Limited Edition — Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi & Choi Woo Shik Are Going on a Surprise Trip and It Looks Chaotic

If you’ve ever dreamed of going on a trip with zero planning and zero warning, this show is your fantasy — and these three stars’ nightmare. Unplanned Trip: Limited Edition is tvN’s upcoming variety show starring Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi, and Choi Woo Shik, where the cast travels across South Korea without knowing where they’re going, where they’ll sleep, or how they’ll get there.

Think of it as chaos with cameras — and we mean that as the highest compliment.

What Happens in the Teaser?

The teaser sets up the ambush perfectly. The three actors appear alongside legendary PD Na Young Suk during what seems like a live broadcast celebrating the 20th anniversary of writer Kim Dae Ju. The mood is warm and celebratory — until Na Young Suk suddenly stands up, tears down a banner, and reveals the whole thing was a setup for an immediate, unannounced trip.

The cast’s genuine shock is priceless. From that moment, everything spirals — strict time limits, a tight budget, and heavy snow making every decision harder. Choi Woo Shik summed it up best: “I thought it would be a wonderful trip, but it’s a mess.”

Honestly? That’s the entire pitch and it works brilliantly.

The Youth Over Flowers Legacy

This show is a fresh instalment in the beloved Youth Over Flowers travel variety franchise, which is famous for its “trip without advance notice” format. Unplanned Trip: Limited Edition keeps that core concept alive while adding new rules and twists to make the journey even more unpredictable and entertaining for modern audiences.
