India’s biggest esports organization has just made one of its boldest international moves yet. S8UL has officially signed Team Question Mark (QM) — a battle-hardened CIS roster widely considered among the strongest PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS lineups in the world — as the organization gears up for the Esports World Cup 2026.
This isn’t a speculative signing. It’s a statement.
Meet the roster flying the S8UL flag
Hailing from the CIS region within EMEA, QM brings a disciplined, macro-driven playstyle that has troubled top teams across multiple international cycles. Here’s who’s now representing S8UL:
| Player | In-game Name | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Roman Zinovev | ADOUZ1E | Captain |
| Andrey Ionov | Bestoloch | Player |
| Mansur Tsimpaev | f1lfirst | Player |
| Nikita Odobesku | Molodoct | Player |
| Yermek Torebekov | Ermaak | Coach |
A trophy cabinet that does the talking
Previously competing under BetBoom Esports, QM has consistently delivered at the highest level. Their earnings tell the full story:
| Tournament | Finish | Prize (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| PUBG Continental Series 7 Europe 2022 | 🥇 Champions | $60,000 |
| PUBG Global Championship 2022 | Top 7 | $134,445 |
| PUBG Global Series 2 (2023) | Top 3 | $162,000 |
| PUBG Global Series 8 (2025) | 🥇 Champions | $100,000 |
| Total Career Earnings | — | ~$713,000 |
They’ve also competed at both the 2024 and 2025 editions of EWC, meaning they already know exactly what it takes on that stage.
Why this move makes complete sense for S8UL?
S8UL co-founder Naman Mathur was direct about the intent: “PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is one of the most competitive titles in the world, and this team has consistently proven itself against the very best.”
Captain ADOUZ1E echoed the excitement from the player side: “Having the backing of a global organisation allows us to push even further.”
This signing slots into a much larger picture. S8UL has already confirmed participation across 13 titles at EWC 2026 — including BGMI, Valorant, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. The org was also reselected as an Esports Foundation Club Partner, placing it among just 40 elite global organizations. What’s at stake at EWC 2026?
The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS competition runs July 21–26 in Riyadh, with 24 top teams competing for a $2 million prize pool (~INR 18.6 crore). S8UL’s QM roster must first clear the qualification pathway — but with two EWC appearances already under their belt, the experience advantage is real.
