Sunny Deol’s Next After Border 2 Is Called Lakhan — And It Sounds Like a Full-On Masala Blockbuster

Bollywood’s most bankable action hero is wasting no time. Fresh off the massive success of Border 2, Sunny Deol is gearing up for another high-octane big-screen showdown — this time with none other than Kill director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt. And the film finally has a name: Lakhan.

Everything We Know About Lakhan

According to sources close to the development, Lakhan is being designed as a larger-than-life action entertainer packed with adrenaline-pumping sequences, powerful dialogues, and crowd-pleasing whistle-worthy moments that will showcase Sunny Deol in full action mode.

The makers have already begun full-fledged prep, with scripting, action design, and pre-production progressing at a brisk pace. Shooting is set to go on floors from October.

Why This Pairing Is Hugely Exciting

Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt announced himself as a director to watch with Kill — a brutally intense, visceral action film that earned global praise for its raw, relentless energy. Now imagine that filmmaking firepower combined with Sunny Deol’s legendary screen presence and iconic mass appeal. The result could be something truly special for Indian action cinema.

This is the kind of pairing that comes along once in a while and just makes sense — like two forces of nature meeting in the middle of a frame.
