Apple is yet to launch 2021 iPhone models and the recent leaks suggest that the US tech giant will be equipping the models with a camera module that is larger than previous generations. We know about it due to CAD leaks and from the iPhone 13 series video which is shared recently.
According to the video from EverythingApplePro (via MacRumors), iPhone 2021 will be coming with larger sensors and sensor-shift stabilization. To accommodate these new features, the rear camera module will be shaped larger than seen in any previous iPhone. From this video, we can infer that the camera module for the iPhone 13 mini, Pro, and Pro Max will feature a “right square” at the back.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is expected to be 0.87 mm bigger when compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max which is in the market for sale. Due to all of this, the thickness of the device will also increase by 0.25 mm. The iPhone 12 Pro’s camera module is expected to be 3.38 inches taller and 4.77 inches wider.
The iPhone 13 mini’s diagonal camera configuration will protrude 0.99mm more than the iPhone 12 mini, according to the CAD. Also, it will be 3.06 mm longer and 0.14 mm shorter in width and height respectively. Last but not the least, iPhone 13 Pro has a camera module that is taller by 3.41 mm and 4.81mm wider than the current iPhone 12 Pro. In comparison to the iPhone 12 Pro’s 2.79mm, the camera device can protrude 3.65mm. In the end, we will say that these are just some leaks so don’t rely on them fully. Let’s wait for few more updates on these mega smartphones from Apple.
