Does Wesley Win the DA Race? (Spoiler: No)
One of the more exciting storylines this season has been Wesley Evers’ campaign for District Attorney. Episode 13 starts out with Wesley declaring that he knows he’s going to lose.
Angela stepped in and gathered the gang to throw her husband a surprise party to lift his spirits. James helped Wesley write a concession speech, while Celina’s boyfriend Rodge performed a heartfelt song to uplift his mood.
Thanks to his opponent’s dirty tricks, Wesley lost the race to become DA, shattering his dreams — but he announced his decision to return to his old job as a defence lawyer.

Bailey’s Dangerous First Day Back
Bailey Nune returned to her role as a paramedic and was assigned to train a new paramedic on a routine emergency call. However, when they reached their destination, the patient had a bullet wound — and armed men attacked them, removing their communication devices and forcing them into an ambulance.
The situation took a brutal turn when the injured man, Issac, refused to return the money and had his hand chopped off by an axe. Ultimately, Nolan disarmed the boss and took control — but the ordeal was enough to convince rookie Oakley to quit being an EMT.
Other Storylines Worth Noting
Seth Ridley returned to Mid-Wilshire hoping to earn back his badge, but the past left no room for a second chance — he left without returning. PRIMETIMER Meanwhile, Wade Grey was admitted to hospital because of kidney stones, leading him and Luna to choose to work through their marriage problems rather than stay apart.
