The timing for Dialled In and Island-EMI’s The Collective to launch a new record label couldn’t be better. As digital platforms keep changing how we listen to music, this partnership feels like a natural fit. Dialled In plans to tap into Island-EMI’s resources to nurture new talent and explore varied music genres. With global music streaming revenue skyrocketing, both partners are eager to make their mark.

But why launch now? As digital platforms and indie artists thrive, major labels face growing pressure. By joining forces, Dialled In and Island-EMI can create a powerful presence in the industry.

Key Facts & Figures

Here’s what’s key: Dialled In’s new label isn’t just a spur-of-the-moment decision. By drawing from Island-EMI’s wide network and experience, they aim to provide the best opportunities for upcoming artists. As part of the Universal Music Group, Island-EMI offers vast industry know-how and resources. Dialled In, known for its fresh take, introduces innovation and flexibility.

Together, they plan to pour resources into artist development and content creation. This collaboration could upend industry norms and push limits. For music fans and artists, this venture holds lots of promise, similar to how the Harry Potter record set high expectations for movie releases.

Our Take

This new record label isn’t just another name entering the scene; it’s a well-thought-out leap into the digital age. As streaming becomes music’s main stage, the mix of Dialled In’s creativity and Island-EMI’s established setup makes them quite the contender.
