What Is Dhurandhar: The Revenge About?

Ranveer Singh returns as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and this time audiences will finally discover the origin story — what drove this man to become the deadly Hamza Ali Mazari. Think of it as a high-octane spy thriller layered with deep backstory, raw emotion, and relentless action. Director Aditya Dhar, the mastermind behind Uri: The Surgical Strike, brings the same gripping intensity to this franchise.

Joining Ranveer are heavyweights Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles — making this ensemble one of Bollywood’s most exciting in recent memory.

Where to Watch Dhurandhar 2 on OTT?

JioHotstar is the official OTT home for Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The makers confirmed this at the end of the trailer itself. While an exact OTT date hasn’t been announced yet, fans can expect the digital premiere roughly 45 to 60 days after its March 19 theatrical release.

Worth noting — Part 1 Dhurandhar had a pre-release deal with Netflix and arrived on that platform eight weeks after its cinema run. Part 2 shifts exclusively to JioHotstar, meaning the streaming window could be decided entirely on the platform’s terms.

Box Office Buzz Before Release

The hype around this film is very real. Advance booking for paid previews alone crossed ₹9 crore, reportedly surpassing the paid preview record of Stree 2 — Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster in recent history. In the US market, it’s already closing in on $2 million in advance sales. Safe to say, this is shaping up to be a genuine blockbuster event.
