Dhurandhar: The Revenge Trailer Has Twitter Losing Its Mind — And Honestly, Same

The trailer for Dhurandhar: The Revenge dropped today and the internet hasn’t recovered yet. Ranveer Singh is back as Jaskirat Singh Rangi — and if the social media reaction is anything to go by, this might just be the most anticipated Bollywood release of the year.

Director Aditya Dhar, who already proved himself with the original Dhurandhar in 2025, has served up a trailer that’s got fans declaring it a future box office demolisher. Let’s break it all down.

Dhurandhar Film at a Glance

What the Trailer Shows

The trailer follows Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi assuming the identity of Hamza Ali Mazari to infiltrate and protect the country from a terrorist threat. It’s a shape-shifting, high-stakes spy thriller — and the action sequences, villain lineup, and Ranveer’s raw intensity have all combined to create something that feels genuinely massive. Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal look menacing as the antagonists, which is exactly the kind of competition Ranveer’s character needs to sell the stakes.

How Twitter Reacted — A Snapshot

The response online was instant and overwhelming. Fans watching in groups of 20+ declared that the character of Jaskirat Singh Rangi is destined to become a cultural phenomenon. Several users called it the finest spy action trailer ever released from Bollywood. The consensus from multiple corners of social media: any film releasing near Dhurandhar: The Revenge on March 19 is in serious trouble at the box office.

One fan summarised it perfectly — this isn’t just another sequel riding on its predecessor’s success. It looks like a storm ready to break.

This kind of pre-release energy is a hallmark of the spy film genre at its best — when the premise, casting, and execution all click simultaneously and audiences can feel it before the movie even releases.

Why This One Feels Different

Dhurandhar (2025) was a blockbuster that essentially announced Ranveer Singh’s arrival as a full-blown action hero. The sequel appears to raise the emotional and physical stakes considerably. With Aditya Dhar writing and directing, and a cast that includes three powerhouse antagonists, this has all the ingredients of a franchise-defining film.
