From juggling part-time jobs as a teenager to walking the Met Gala red carpet in custom Valentino — Sarocha “Freen” Chankimha’s rise is the kind of story that genuinely doesn’t feel real. And yet, every milestone is very much documented, very much earned, and very much just getting started.

Freen Sarocha — Fast Facts

12 Things That Make Freen Sarocha Unforgettable

1. She never planned to act. After graduating with First Class Honours, Freen initially dreamed of a corporate career — even entrepreneurship. Acting found her, not the other way around.

2. Her debut was a music video. She first appeared on screen in “Before Rain” by Thai singer The Toys in 2017 — a video that has since crossed 66 million views on YouTube.

3. She made GL history. Her breakthrough came with Gap: The Series, regarded as Thailand’s first GL (Girls’ Love) series, where she played an icy CEO whose walls slowly come down.

4. FreenBecky is a whole phenomenon. Her on-screen chemistry with co-star Becky Armstrong turned into one of Southeast Asia’s most beloved celebrity pairings, with their combined TikTok hashtags surpassing tens of billions of views.

5. She’s a Forbes-level fashion force. At the 2025 Met Gala, Freen became the first Thai actress to attend, representing Valentino — earning the highest engagement rate of all attendees at 33.9%.

6. Business owner at her core. She runs two personal ventures: Lightnight Candles and Ninety Two, a streetwear clothing line — proof that the corporate ambition never really left.

7. Selected by Business of Fashion. In October 2025, Freen was selected as a member of the Business of Fashion 500 Class in Paris — a rare global recognition for a Thai entertainer.

8. She’s now fully independent. After departing Idol Factory in October 2025, Freen launched Solenn Entertainment — her own company, her own terms.

9. The 4 Elements is coming. She and Becky are set to star in The Air, part of the ambitious four-part GL universe The 4 Elements, which premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival as the first GL series ever selected for screening there.

10. Magazines can’t get enough of her. She has graced the covers of GQ, Vogue Thailand, L’Officiel, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar — multiple times.

11. Valentino’s top performer. At Paris Fashion Week SS25, she generated $5.9 million in Media Impact Value across just four placements.

12. Her motto says it all. “Do my best every day.” — a phrase that reads differently once you know her full story.
