Would you be surprised, if you listen that Battlefield 6 will have “large-scale and close quarters battles,” “next level destruction” and “stunning visual effects” among several things? Battlefield rumors are coming in chunks now and heading sooner than the expected reveal some time this season, with a recent Tweet stating some of its features obtaining a response from the official Battlefield Twitter account.
Roberto Serrano (aka @geronimo_73) pointed towards a modern warfare setting via a Tweet, which tells 16-128 multiplayer matches, weapons and vehicles, customization for soldiers, and a “fall 2021” release date. A battle royale component is also listed in the Tweet, which is said to be rolled out in early 2022 as a free-to-play title.

Another rumor roaming around on Reddit, which has no relation with any kind of official response, points to Battlefield 6 having a hub-like launcher hosting “most, if not all” old Battlefield games – similar as the Hitman 3 now hosts to the entire trilogy. But for now, you should take it as a pinch of salt.
Meanwhile, EA is doing a survey to some of the players (via PCGamesN) asking about a range of features including a battle pass. It should not take much time before we get all this as an official announcement.
