The Setup: An Engagement Built on the Wrong Motives

Choi In Ja (Byun Jung Soo) is dead set on her daughter No Ra marrying Shin Jung Woo so that she can win the ongoing succession battle — and is absolutely determined to make sure the engagement goes smoothly.

The problem? Up until now, the two exes — Hong Geum Bo and Shin Jung Woo — have held differing views on the future direction of Hanmin Securities. But new stills suggest that conversation between them may be about to change the trajectory of the entire engagement.

Undercover Miss Hong Episode 10 Preview: What the Stills Reveal

Newly released stills capture Hong Geum Bo talking to Shin Jung Woo while in her work uniform. The body language is tense, significant — the kind of conversation that clearly means more than work.

Then, the plot thickens: another set of stills shows Shin Jung Woo speaking to Kang No Ra, who appears startled by a sudden change in his attitude PRIMETIMER — suggesting Jung Woo is having serious second thoughts right before the engagement is supposed to happen.

The final set of photos offers a glimpse of the engagement party itself — and notably, a chilling silence has descended over the table where the Hanmin Securities family and their closest associates are seated, including Albert Oh, Kang Pil Beom, Oh Deok Gyu, and Song Joo Ran.

Chilling silence at an engagement party — in a securities fraud investigation setting — is never a good sign for anyone involved. But for romance fans, it’s the most thrilling preview possible.

The drama is a masterclass in what makes Korean drama so addictive — layering corporate conspiracy, identity deception, and slow-burn romance into a 90s period setting that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
