Arsenal is considering move for Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir next summer.
Nabil Fekir is a very talented midfielder in European football right now. He joined the Spanish side in 2019. He has made 63 matches in the last two seasons and scored 10 times. He won the world cup in 2018 with France. Fekir has represented his country 25 times.
However, Fekir is always on the target list of multiple European top sides. Liverpool, Arsenal are among them. Arsenal was interested in signing him last summer. But the deal has not gone through as Dani Ceballos, who is on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid, agreed to stay one more season at London. The Spanish midfielder helped the Gunners to win the FA Cup last summer.
After that, some reports claim the north London side’s interest in Fekir cooled once the 24-year-old Spain international’s return for a second loan spell was confirmed in September. But now, some reports are claiming that the Gunners will again go for the French World Cup winner next summer.
In 2018, Fekir was set to complete a £53million move to Liverpool in 2018. Later he joined Real Betis. Fekir has a £79m release clause in his Betis deal. If Arsenal wants to sign him then they may have to pay the release clause.
