If you’ve been waiting for Jisoo to finally get her fairytale K-drama moment, the newly dropped trailer for Boyfriend on Demand just confirmed that your patience is about to be very well rewarded. Released on February 19, 2026, the trailer gives us our best look yet at what might become the most talked-about K-drama of early 2026 — and honestly, it’s already living rent-free in our heads.

What Is Boyfriend on Demand About?

The show follows Seo Mi Rae (Jisoo), a webtoon creator with barely any time to herself — just 3 hours and 30 minutes a day that she reserves exclusively for her own joy. To fill that precious window with romance, she turns to a futuristic simulation app called Monthly Boyfriend, where handsome men cater to her every romantic whim in perfectly scripted scenarios.

It sounds like the dream, right? But then Park Kyung Nam (Seo In Guk) walks in — a rival webtoon creator who is the complete opposite of everything inside that polished app. He’s imperfect, unpredictable, and undeniably real. The trailer perfectly captures that delicious tension between the safety of fantasy and the chaos of genuine connection.

This concept touches beautifully on the Korean Wave phenomenon that has made K-dramas globally irresistible — blending futuristic premises with deeply relatable emotional storytelling.

Why This One Feels Different

After the heartbreak Jisoo’s character endured in Snowdrop, fans have been rooting hard for her to lead a happier storyline. Boyfriend on Demand delivers not just a love story — it delivers a story about choosing real love over perfect love, and that’s a theme that hits differently when you actually feel it.

Mark your calendars for March 6, 2026 on Netflix. This one is not to be missed.
