Meet the BIGBANG Band Members

G-Dragon is the creative engine of the group — a rapper, songwriter, and producer who wrote some of K-pop’s most iconic tracks. His influence stretches from music to fashion, and he’s widely regarded as one of the most important figures in modern Korean pop culture. His solo career with albums like Heartbreaker and Coup d’Etat only cemented that reputation further.

Taeyang, the group’s main vocalist, is the soulful heartbeat of BIGBANG. His voice is unmistakable — warm, powerful, and deeply emotional. His solo tracks like Eyes, Nose, Lips became global fan favourites. Off stage, he married actress Min Hyo Rin in 2018, a moment fans still celebrate.

Daesung may fly under the radar internationally, but his vocal range and infectious charm have made him a fan favourite in South Korea and Japan. His versatility — from emotional ballads to hilarious variety show appearances — makes him one of the most endearing members.

T.O.P brought a distinct, deep-toned rap style and a love for avant-garde art to BIGBANG. His acting career, including roles in Iris and Tazza: The Hidden Card, showed his range beyond music. He officially departed from the group in 2023.

Seungri, the youngest (maknae) of the group, was the energetic showman of the lineup. However, his career ended abruptly in 2019 following his involvement in the Burning Sun scandal and subsequent legal proceedings.

According to Wikipedia, BIGBANG debuted in August 2006 and went on to become one of the best-selling music artists in the world, with over 140 million records sold.
