Ragini MMS 3 Faces Unexpected Delay: What Happened Behind the Scenes?

Bollywood’s popular horror franchise is hitting a roadblock. Ragini MMS 3, starring the talented Tamannaah Bhatia, has reportedly been delayed after director Sahir Raza stepped away from the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Ragini MMS 3: Facts

Why the Delay?

According to Variety India, director Sahir Raza, known for web series like The Married Woman and Illegal – Justice, had to exit the project. Netflix’s new mandate requires showrunners to be physically present on set daily, making it impossible for him to juggle both commitments. The franchise’s reboot now awaits a replacement director while producer Ektaa Kapoor searches for fresh talent to helm this supernatural thriller.

What Makes Ragini MMS Special?

The Ragini MMS franchise pioneered found-footage horror in India. The 2011 original starred Rajkummar Rao and became a cult hit, while the 2014 sequel featuring Sunny Leone pushed boundaries further. This third installment promises stronger supernatural elements, moving away from the found-footage format that defined its predecessors.
