Rowoon’s First Love

The Sweetest Confession About His First Love

During the interview, Rowoon opened up with touching honesty: “Before I entered the industry, I was in a relationship, and those memories often come to mind. She holds the position of my first love, and remains the most cherished person in my 24 years of life.”

What makes this confession so special? The Destined With You star didn’t just acknowledge his past relationship—he celebrated it. In an industry where idols often hide their dating history, Rowoon’s transparency was refreshing and endearing.

What Kind of Boyfriend Was Rowoon?

The answer might make you believe in true love again. When his girlfriend lived in Bundang and he was near Samseong Station, Rowoon would traverse 15 kilometers—either driving or taking the bus—just to deliver tea and porridge when she was sick.

His philosophy on relationships? “Anyone would do that for the person they love.” This humble statement reveals the kind of caring, thoughtful partner he was, setting relationship goals for fans worldwide.

After seven years with SF9, Rowoon made the bold decision to focus solely on his acting career in 2023. The transition paid off spectacularly with his recent hit drama Destined With You alongside Jo Bo Ah, which concluded with impressive ratings and solidified his position as a leading man in Korean dramas.

His departure from SF9 was bittersweet but necessary. At 27, Rowoon penned an emotional letter to fans, expressing gratitude for his journey while emphasizing his desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities as an actor.
