What Makes “Honour” Different?

Based on a Swedish series, “Honour” follows three lawyers who founded L&J law firm to represent female crime victims. But this isn’t just another legal drama—the trio’s 20-year friendship harbors a dark secret that fuels their mission.

The Power of Shared Trauma

Lee Na Young described their connection as “a sense of solidarity that goes beyond friendship—one rooted in sharing the same secret.” She emphasized that their relationship stems from survival and honor, where they protect one another at all costs.

Jung Eun Chae highlighted “the quiet strength of a 20-year friendship” with unspoken understanding and shared values. She cryptically noted that “the beginning of every story lies in a tragic fate and solidarity,” hinting at their traumatic past.

Meanwhile, Lee Chung Ah kept it simple yet powerful: “the desire to protect one another” is what sustains their bond. This protective instinct, rather than abstract justice, drives their decisions.

The Mystery Behind L&J Law Firm

The name “Listen and Join” reflects their mission to stand with victims. As Yoon Ra Young (Lee Na Young) states: “We wanted to become the person we desperately needed back then.” This powerful statement suggests the three experienced something traumatic 20 years ago—an incident that remains their closely guarded secret.

The production team teased that viewers will witness “solidarity that goes beyond reassurance—it will feel raw and even devastating at times.”
