India’s Pre-World Cup Perfection

India’s T20 World Cup prep couldn’t be better. Top order—Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan—attacks fearlessly. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav’s first fifty in 23 innings (Raipur) silenced critics pre-World Cup.

Middle order—Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh—provides firepower. Pacers grab early wickets; spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy strangle middle overs. Missing ingredient? Consistency.

Key Change: Jasprit Bumrah returns, replacing expensive Arshdeep Singh. With Axar Patel injured, Harshit Rana keeps his spot for batting depth.

New Zealand’s Uphill Battle

Kiwis posted 200+ in Raipur but no batter reached fifty—concerning. They need an anchor while others attack.

Bowling’s their Achilles heel. Except Matt Henry and Jacob Duffy’s opening spell (match two), bowlers leak runs everywhere. Mitchell Santner must find wickets AND stop bleeding.

Head-to-Head: India’s Historical Edge

• Total T20Is: 27 matches
• India Wins: 16
• New Zealand Wins: 10
• No Result: 1

India holds a commanding 16-10 advantage, and current form suggests extending that lead tonight.
