The Gentleman’s Jacket: Where Elegance Meets Sport
The Gentleman’s Jacket by Shantnu Nikhil isn’t just apparel—it’s a statement. Designed exclusively for franchise owners and winning teams, this navy blazer features crisp white piping, a custom 72 insignia badge, and an illustrated golfer lining that pays homage to the sport’s precision.
“We’ve always wanted to design a jacket that represents golf’s gravity, shaped by precision and discipline,” said Shantnu Nikhil. The single-breasted silhouette blends traditional sporting uniforms with modern execution, perfectly capturing the league’s contemporary vision.
India’s Professional Golf Revolution
72 The League represents India’s first exclusive national professional golf league. Six city-based franchises will compete, each with 10 professional players selected through transparent auctions. This initiative by Game of Life Sports brings golf into mainstream entertainment with Pro-Am events, fan zones, and premium digital content.
Samant Sikka, Co-Founder of Game of Life Sports, describes The Gentleman’s Jacket as “an emblem of excellence” that perfectly reflects the league’s ethos.
With the Professional Golf Tour of India backing this venture and President Kapil Dev‘s legendary influence, 72 The League is set to transform Indian professional golf into a thrilling spectator sport.
