It would not be strange if we say that the journey of the team for the biopic of Saina Nehwal was not less than a roller-coaster ride. After the news of the stepping out of Shraddha Kapoor of the film to the speculation about the OTT release of the biopic. The team Saina had gone through many ups and downs in the few last years.

Parineeti Chopra will be performed in the lead role in this upcoming biopic. It also has confirmed that it would be a theatrical release of the film that news already creates a craziness among the movie lover. It has set to release on 26th March.

Saina that helmed by Amol Gupta had dropped its teaser last week that has so much impressed the fans with the first look of Parineeti Chopra and also her commendable imitation about the Olympic winning badminton player.

The Saina team also got some public display and got support from Saina herself as she shared the teaser on a social media platform and wrote that it always made her proud to see her national flag soar high. She also had given many compliments on the look of Parineeti and also appreciated it.

The trailer gives us more glimpses into the badminton champ’s life and how she holds his position in this sport when she was a little girl and depicts how India was cheered on her after she participated in international tournaments.

Initially, Shraddha Kapoor was set to feature in the titular role. The actress had passed the look test and consequently started training under Indian team head coach Pullela Gopichand for over a month and a half to get fit into the role of the badminton player.

After hard training, Shraddha had also started filming in September 2018, but it was all in vain after she became diagnosed with dengue. After that, in early 2019, T-series had announced that Parineeti Chopra had changed in the role of Shraddha in the biopic.
