Story Recap: A Judge’s Second Chance

The premiere introduced Judge Lee Han-yeong, who in 2035 lived as a puppet of his powerful father-in-law’s law firm. After presiding over a corrupt case favoring a conglomerate responsible for fatal chemical accidents, his mother died during the victim’s funeral. When Han-yeong defied expectations by sentencing a corrupt chairman to prison, he was framed and murdered by those in power.

Miraculously, he awakens ten years in the past in 2025, at the beginning of his judicial career. Armed with knowledge of the future, Han-yeong overturns his first corrupt verdict and identifies a serial killer, preventing future murders. The first two episodes concluded with Han-yeong ramming his car into the fleeing killer, declaring that justice will finally be served.
