The Chinese GPU giant has launched two new GPUs specially designed for internet cafes in China. In the middle of a global GPU shortage, Colorful did end up producing the iCafe editions of the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti GPUs.
Although both of them look very identical to each other, these are two different GPUs made for a reason as in China internet cafes are still very popular. So, to make cost-effective iCafe edition GPUs makes sense but these cafes have already become the place of mining and supplying new GPUs will indeed be profitable.
These GPUs come with a new dual-fan cooler and both GA104 and GA106 pin-compatible. As Videocardz reports, these cards will not be available in some fancy packaging, as they will be sold in bulk directly to Internet Cafes.
Coming to specs, the GPUs are kept at reference clocks, default TDP, and offer standard display output configuration. These RTX 3060 iCafe models are more like redesigned NVIDIA reference GPUs but although they are being touted to be made for cafes but could end up in the hands of miners, you never know.
