The Million-Coin Question: Your Ultimate Guide to Checking Stash Value in Arc Raiders

With Arc Raiders’ first Expedition Project departure looming (December 17-22, 2025), knowing your exact stash value has become crucial. Every million coins translates to bonus skill points for your next raider—but Embark Studios didn’t make checking this number easy. Here’s how to see what you’re really worth.

Arc Raiders Reference: Stash Value Methods

Why Stash Value Suddenly Matters

Expedition Projects are Arc Raiders’ unique take on seasonal wipes. Instead of losing everything with nothing to show for it, your accumulated wealth directly determines your next character’s starting advantages. The reward structure is straightforward: one million coins worth of stash = one bonus skill point, maxing out at five million for five extra points.

This system has sparked intense debate within the community, with many players feeling the grind-to-reward ratio isn’t worth it. Regardless, if you’re participating in the December Expedition, knowing where you stand is essential.

Method 1: The Manual Selection Route (Console & PC)

This is currently the only legitimate in-game method available to all players:

1. Open your stash in Arc Raiders
2. Multi-select every item – Hold CTRL and click each item on PC, or hold LT/L2 and press A/X on each item for console
3. Right-click (or press options button) to open the contextual menu
4. Select “Sell” – Don’t actually sell! Just open the sell tab
5. Check the total value displayed at the bottom

Important: With 280 possible stash slots, this method is tedious. One accidental click could sell your entire inventory, so proceed carefully. The value shown includes only stash items—your equipped gear doesn’t count, and blueprints contribute zero value despite taking up space.

Method 2: The Windows Date Trick (PC Only)

Discovered by clever players on Reddit, this workaround lets you see your stash value instantly by accessing the Expedition screen early:

1. Launch Arc Raiders but stay at the main menu
2. Open Windows Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time
3. Disable automatic time sync
4. Change your system date to December 18, 2025, or later
5. Return to the game (no restart needed)
6. Navigate to Raider > Projects > Expedition Project
7. Your complete stash value now displays on screen, according to Destructoid.

Remember: Turn automatic time back on afterward! Leaving your system date changed can cause syncing issues with other applications and games.

This method reveals your total value including coins but excluding equipped items—exactly what determines your Expedition rewards.

What Counts Toward Your Stash Value?

Understanding what actually contributes to your million-coin milestones helps optimize your grinding strategy:

Included:

• All items stored in your stash
• Your current coin balance
• Weapons, armor, consumables at their sell value

Excluded:

• Currently equipped gear
• Blueprints (they occupy stash slots but have zero value)
• Items in your active loadout

The Controversial Meta Shift: Many players now refuse to use high-tier gear in matches, hoarding everything valuable instead. This has created a “level 1 gear meta” that frustrates the community—the very opposite of what should happen before a wipe.
