What Happened in Episodes 1-2?

The season premiere introduced a chilling case involving a romance scam operation targeting young women. Rainbow Taxi’s Go-eun entered the scam operation herself, was manipulated into taking a loan, and was abducted to Japan. The team uncovered a massive human trafficking network run by Matsuda Keita, complete with an underground fighting club.

In a dramatic rescue, Do-gi infiltrated the operation by defeating the club’s strongest fighter, only to discover he had accidentally taken down an undercover Interpol agent. The episodes ended with Go-eun’s emotional reunion with her friend I-seo after successfully escaping the traffickers.

Episodes 3-4 Preview: Corruption Runs Deep

The upcoming episodes shift to a new case that exposes systemic corruption. Jang Seong-cheol encounters a taxi driver attempting to take his own life after his taxi license was revoked due to a DUI accident he wasn’t involved in. Despite being innocent, no legal office will handle his case.

Rainbow Taxi’s investigation uncovers a disturbing trail: a disbarred lawyer who killed someone and several influential figures pulling strings behind the scenes. The episodes promise to delve deeper into this hidden network of corruption as the team fights to clear the wronged driver’s name.

Based on the webtoon The Deluxe Taxi by Carlos and Lee Jae-jin, the show draws inspiration from real-life heinous crimes. Season 3 expands the Rainbow Taxi universe internationally, with the team crossing borders to Japan to tackle human trafficking rings.

The cast features returning favorites Lee Je-hoon as Kim Do-gi, Kim Eui-sung as Jang Seong-cheol, and Pyo Ye-jin as Go-eun. New additions include Hong Kong actor Edan Lui, adding fresh dynamics to the vigilante crew.

The series tackles uncomfortable truths about justice system failures while delivering heart-pounding action sequences. Each case represents victims abandoned by legal systems, making Rainbow Taxi’s underground operations both morally complex and deeply satisfying to watch.
