Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood signed another deal with Manchester United which will make him stay at the club until June 2025. Yesterday, he signed a new contract with his boyhood club.
Mason Greenwood made his debut for Manchester United in 2019. Last season he has proved his capabilities. It was the breakthrough season for the English youngster. He played extremely well and has scored a lot of goals. He has scored 17 goals with 5 assists in last season for Manchester United. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the opportunity to the youngster to grow.
This season he is yet to deliver his best. But Ole is hopeful with the potential he has. The Manchester United boss said, “Mason is a fantastic talent and yet another fine example of the type of player that our academy produces.”
“He has made great progress this season, showing real maturity and adaptability to his game which has seen him develop into one of the best young players in the country. Whilst it is easy for people outside of the club to forget that Mason is just 19, it is our job as coaches to ensure he reaches his phenomenal potential and every step we take is to help him along that path.”
Mason Greenwoood was also delighted after signing the new contract. Greenwood said, “When you join the club at seven years old you just dream of playing for the first-team one day.”
“I’ve worked so hard to reach this level and the last two years have been amazing. I want to thank the academy for everything they have done for me and for their continued support to this day.”
