The Theater at Madison Square Garden witnessed one of the most stunning betrayals in NXT history as Jacy Jayne reclaimed the NXT Women’s Championship on November 18, 2025—but not without help from an unlikely source. In a night packed with four championship matches, only one title changed hands, and it left fans absolutely speechless.

The Main Event Shocker in MSG

Tatum Paxley defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Jacy Jayne in the main event, but The Culling’s Izzi Dame delivered a devastating superkick to Paxley before tossing her back in the ring, allowing Jayne to hit the Rolling Encore for the victory. The betrayal was complete as The Culling stood over Paxley’s fallen body with Dame trash-talking the former champion as the show ended.

This shocking turn made Jayne a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and potentially shifted the entire landscape of the women’s division heading into NXT Deadline.

Heartbreak for Sol Ruca

Blake Monroe successfully defended her NXT Women’s North American Championship when Zaria threw in the white towel to protect Sol Ruca’s injured leg from further damage. The match saw Monroe remove Ruca’s knee brace and lock in a brutal leg submission, forcing Zaria to make the difficult decision despite Ruca’s protests.

The aftermath saw tension brewing between the tag team partners, setting up potential drama for future episodes.

Tag Team Troubles

Je’Von Evans and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater fell short in their bid for the NXT Tag Team Championships when Evans accidentally hit Slater with a springboard splash, leading to DarkState’s Doomsday Device for the victory. This marked Evans’ second consecutive night of coming up short, raising questions about his recent performance.
