Prices of GeForce RTX 3060 put NVIDIA’s GA106 card at more than 150% of MSRP

Having announced this budget GPU back at CES 2021, finally, we have a launch date and the Indian pricing of the entry-level RTX 30-series GPU. The RTX 3060 has been priced at $329 in the US and in India, the card will be priced at a modest ₹ 29,500 for the reference model.

Obviously, if the speculation is correct the availability date is set for February 25 at 6 AM Pacific Time or 7:30 PM IST. Also, the availability of these new and powerful GPUs will be matter to be seen as the GPU stocks have been disastrous worldwide.

NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for ₹ 35,900 earlier which has seen a massive demand from the gamers after it was on par with previous generation’s GeForce RTX 2080 Super. We have already reviewed the Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti on our website.

The RTX 3060’s key specifications include:

  • 13 shader-TFLOPs
  • 25 RT-TFLOPs for ray tracing
  • 101 tensor-TFLOPs to power NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling)
  • 192-bit memory interface
  • 12GB of GDDR6 memory

The RTX 3060 should give a strong performance, thanks to the 12GB GDDR6 performance and new ray-tracing cores. Although NVIDIA is confident to satisfy the huge demand of gamers, only time will tell if both NVIDIA and its AIB partners can provide the RTX 3060 at the MSRP.
